The BS-661 detector was designed to provide rapid detection in the event of a fire.

Consists of two parts.

A plastic base mounted on the roof, and the main body of the detector that fastens to the plastic base with a simple rotation to the right. The detectors have an indicator light that lights up continuously in case of fire detection, until they receive a cancellation command from the panel. The LED also flashes every 4 sec to indicate good operation.

The detectors must be mounted on the roof in visible places without obstruction.

It is recommended to perform a check of good operation every 6 months or after a change of position.

The detector can work with conventional fire detection panels such as BS-632, BS-636
