Plaster Waterproofing Epal DSF 360 5kg Gray 21.11.603611

The DSF 360 is made up of cement, quartz sand, pozzolans and additives. It has very strong adhesion to all standard substrates and resistance to cooling and moisture. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. After mixing with water, a liquid paste is obtained that is easy to apply with a brush, coarse brush or spatula. Meets the requirements of standard EN 1504-9 and is classified as a product of protection of concrete surfaces according to standard EN 1504-2 coating (C) and the principles MC and IR. It is suitable for drinking water tanks as well as for application on food contact surfaces, in accordance with the requirements of W-347 and W-270.

Application Steps

Step 1

First ensure that surfaces are clean and free of loose foreign matter, salts, oils and other contaminants. Remove protrusions and grime, polyurethane or other soft materials. Cut the protruding irons to a depth of 1.5 - 2.0 cm. Close any holes or cracks with THRAKON WRM 520 or WRM 500 quick-setting repair mortar (if applicable). When applying the product, make sure that no water runs on the substrate. Water leaks must be sealed with THRAKON WRM 500 material. Wet the surface with water until saturated and remove excess water.

Step 2

In a clean container add 6.5-7.25 liters of clean water

Step 3

Gradually empty the contents of the bag, stirring constantly, to form a homogeneous paste, which can be applied without running.

Step 4

First apply the brush first hand, taking care that the product covers all the gaps

Step 5

When the first coat is tied and before it is completely dry, apply the second coat crosswise. If required, wetting of the first hand precedes. The second coat can also be applied with a spatula, if the surface allows. In this case the paste becomes a little thicker

Step 6

If you want more durability, a third-hand application is also recommended

Step 7

If the surface has many irregularities and you want to smooth it, you can then plaster it while the surface is still wet. The material should be applied when the outside temperature is between + 5C and 35C. When the temperature is at high levels, the strengths develop faster, while the workability of the material decreases. At low temperatures the resistances develop with delay. It is recommended to keep the surface moist, and to avoid rapid evaporation in the first days after application and especially when the temperature is high or when the application is done under strong sun
