The Smart-UPS SRT 5000 On-Line 5000VA 4500W with 10 IEC APC Sockets is a Tower UPS. It has 10 IEC type sockets (such as that of computer power supplies) as well as socket and output for ethernet cable protecting the devices connected to it e.g. router (provided that their power supply is connected to a UPS or power strip). Its function is (VFI) On-Line / Double Conversion that offers constant current from its battery, protecting against voltage fluctuations and power outages. Its battery can last 13 minutes at half load or 5 minutes at full charge (when the connected devices draw half or the maximum current that the UPS can give respectively). It offers pure sine current that is suitable for sensitive devices (eg medical devices) and is preferred for devices with power supplies that have active PFC protection (eg computers).
