Elastic thixotropic mastic of polyurethane base of one component with high elasticity, without solvents. Cures with subsoil and air humidity. It has excellent adhesion to all building materials and permanent elasticity in all climatic conditions. Ideal for sealing joints of concrete, wood, etc. For indoor and outdoor applications.

Suitable for sealing joints of medium mobility and light elastic welding

Application Steps

Step 1

Joints must be stable, clean, dry and free of oils and grease. Residues after curing and any other foreign body must be removed

Step 2

Install the Baker Rod joint stop cord to prevent bonding to the joint base

Step 3

Priming is usually not necessary. Most substrates only require primer if the need arises after inspection or where the sealant is to be immersed in water after curing. Regarding the primer, you should use the FLX 390 POROUS PRIMER, for application on absorbent surfaces

Step 4

The cartridge is placed in the special pistol and the nozzle is cut obliquely and so that it does not penetrate, but presses on the sides of the joint

Step 5

The mastic is applied by guiding the cartridge at an angle of 45 degrees to the axis of the joint

Step 6

Apply by hand or with an air gun (maximum required pressure: 3.5 kg). Avoid air entrapment during application. To prevent unwanted contamination on the lips of the joints, place adhesive tape along them, which is removed immediately after sealing the joint (before the formation of the film begins)

Step 7

While the mastic is still fresh, it is smoothed with the help of a spatula
