High Acrylic Primer Flex Prim GLX 292 2121472920

It is ideal for the preparation of any new or old porous surface such as plaster, bricks, concrete, trowel walls, etc. creating an excellent adhesion bridge for acrylic plasters, watercolors, mortars, tile adhesives, acrylic and cementitious sealants, etc. It is also the best solution for surfaces painted with glue, lime, or poor quality old paints.

Stabilizes brittle surfaces (such as loose plasters, cement mortars, etc.) and prepares them to accept coatings such as paints, coatings, etc. Prepares difficult surfaces for bonding ceramic tiles such as plasterboard, wood, etc.
It has a high penetration capacity and reduces the capillary absorption coefficient without closing the pores, leaving the surface to "breathe".

Application Steps

Step 1

The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust, mold, oils before application. Remove any frayed, or peeled old paint. Where plastering is needed, use STATUS 100% ACRYLIC PLASTER and after it dries, rub with sandpaper and dust well. Where there are large cracks, use the ready-to-use Lightweight, White Stucco STATUS ONE COVER for plastering, with a single pass and without rubbing. Never apply on surfaces that may contain moisture. First make sure that the cause of the dampness has stopped and that the surface is completely dry

Step 2

Stir the contents of the container thoroughly before use

Step 3

Apply without dilution On new plaster or concrete surfaces, apply after 30-40 days. The application of the material on absorbent or very rough surfaces is done with a sprayer

Step 4

If you need a second coat, spend at least 4 hours after the first. In this way we ensure the penetration of the material everywhere, speed in application and economy in consumption. During the application we must make sure that the material is absorbed and not just deposited forming a skin on the surfaces

Step 5

After application, any excess (ponds) must be removed

Step 6

It dries in 1 hour, so that it does not get dirty to the touch. Full resistance to washing after 4 weeks

Step 7

Repaint after 4 hours. Drying times refer to normal ambient conditions (25ºC, 60% humidity). Any differences in ambient temperature and humidity may alter the above times
